Who are we?
Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the national organization, was founded in January 1938 and now boasts over 270 chapters.
Stamford–Norwalk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. (SNJJ), founded in November 1953, has a 70+ year legacy of developing future leaders through annual programming activities guided under five programmatic thrust: cultural awareness, educational development, health (education and advocacy), civic (legislative advocacy and service) and social/recreational areas—guided by the belief that leaders are not born, they are developed.
Over the past year, SNJJ teens have contributed nearly 1,000 hours of service to their community.

The Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3), is the philanthropic arm of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. For more than 57 years, the Foundation has invested in programs that remove systemic barriers and expand opportunity for children and families in underserved communities.
Since 2021, the Foundation has invested $2.3 million in 345 programs across 34 states, advancing equity in education, health, and economic opportunity. Flagship initiatives—such as the College GAP Fund—support college access, mental health, literacy, and housing stability, helping children thrive and become future leaders.
